Hello everyone,
“I’m not always in the mood for booze, but that doesn’t mean I just want…water. Enter gazoz, a refreshing drink made with sparkling water, fruit syrup, and fresh herbs. Think of it as nonalcoholic spritzer that uses seasonal (and often trendy) ingredients like lemon verbena, Concord grape and thyme or quince and fennel. Gazoz is not a new creation – it was popular in Israel in the 1950’s but it’s a natural menu addition as all-day restaurants and Middle Eastern-influenced spots continue to open in droves. “ Bon Appetite magazine
I totally agree with the author of the article. We often crave for just an amazing craft cocktail with scrumptious taste and there is no need for alcohol, we can be utterly satisfied with a non-alcoholic masterpiece of a drink.
In the world of cooking art, the presentation is everything in my opinion. Being on trend is another everything. Bon Appetite magazine predicts gazoz to crash the trend of non-alcoholic cocktails, lets then earn a reputation of the most trendy-gourmet-host and serve a refreshing, fruity and unexpectedly herb flavored drink to our upcoming party before our guests try it in a restaurant.
How about melon-peach gazoz with sage and rosemary finish on a hot summer day? Cut two wedges of honeydew with one peach in a blender cup, add two spoonfuls of sugar and squeeze half of the lemon. Blend. Squeeze the syrup into glasses through the sieve. Add sparkling water. Pop in a generous bunch of rosemary, mint or sage and enjoy new trendy craft cocktail!
After eating this incredible meal, you will become a pinch happier, I promise!
